Alan Jones, Senior Managing Director at Intermediate Capital Group (ICG)
Alan Jones is a Senior Managing Director and Member of the Management Committee at Intermediate Capital Group where he is responsible for Direct Private Investment in North America.
Prior to joining ICG, he was a Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Private Credit and Equity at Morgan Stanley where he served in a number of leadership positions over. 25-year career. Starting in 2007, Mr. Jones rebuilt Morgan Stanley’s private equity investment business and from 2007 to 2018 was Head of Private Equity and Chair of the Private Equity Investment Committee. He served as a Co-Head from 2007 to 2010 and from 2017 to 2018.
Mr. Jones is Chairman of the Board of Physicians for Human Rights, a Director of The Commonwealth Fund, a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, a Director of the International Biomedical Research Alliance, a Director of Pursuit which increases economic opportunity through technology, a member of Harvard’s Committee on University Resources, Co-Chair of the Harvard College Fund Executive Committee, Director of the Harvard Alumni Association, Co-Chair of the Harvard Business School Fund, member of the Harvard Business School Board of Dean’s Advisors, Chief Fund Agent for the Harvard Business School Class of 1987, Reunion Co-Chairman for the Harvard College Class of 1983, a mentor in Senator Gillibrand’s Women’s Mentoring Initiative.
