Arnold Albiar
Managing Partner of Hawai’i
Arnold Albiar serves as Managing Partner of Hawai'i at Sustainability Partners, where he leads SP's team in executing the state's landmark EV electrification contract. Deeply committed to improving infrastructure across the Hawaiian Islands, Arnold directs the statewide implementation of sustainable infrastructure solutions including fleet electrification, charging infrastructure, backup power, microgrids, clean water solutions and more for state agencies, counties, airports, hospitals, universities, and public entities throughout Hawai'i.
Under Arnold’s leadership, SP has deployed nearly 400 infrastructure assets including EV fleet vehicles and charging infrastructure across a broad portfolio of active projects including an extensive list of Hawai’i Department of Transportation locations, three international airports, Kona Community Hospital, the City and County of Honolulu, and more. His work helps Hawai’i advance its goal of a zero-emissions clean energy economy by 2045.
Prior to joining SP, Arnold built an extensive career in transportation management across the Hawaiian Islands. As Operations Manager at E’NOA Corporation, he led the establishment of the company’s first Electric Vehicle Division in collaboration with local governments, regulatory agencies, and electric utilities. Earlier at Roberts Hawaii Tours and Transportation, he directed statewide operations for more than 800 employees across four islands with revenue exceeding $40 million.
Arnold’s perseverance and drive for excellence have earned him the trust of customers, vendors, and teammates alike. His ability to build strong relationships across all levels of staff, management, and stakeholder organizations has consistently delivered positive outcomes for the communities he serves.
Arnold served 18 years in the U.S. Navy and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. He is an active member of the Sustainable Transportation Coalition of Hawaiʻi, the Waikiki Transportation Management Association, and the Hawaiʻi Transportation Association.
