Danny Hughes, Infrastructure Partner, Hawai'i

As an Infrastructure Partner at Sustainability Partners, Danny Hughes leverages decades of experience delivering large-scale developments, overseeing remedial repairs at commercial and civic structures, and collaborating with numerous stakeholders to resolve complex infrastructure challenges and enhance the efficiency and performance of our built environment.

With over 20 years of experience, Danny has provided strategic oversight for over $100M in Hawai’i-based projects, bridging the gap between complex engineering requirements and long-term capital efficiency. He brings project-specific insight from ground-up developments, seawall rehabilitations, building envelope repairs, sea-level-rise mitigation, wastewater and leach field upgrades, deep foundation infrastructure, and numerous domestic and sewer pipe replacements.

Danny earned his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and his BA from UC Santa Barbara, where he played on the men’s volleyball team. Prior to moving to Hawai’i, he enjoyed coaching the next generation of volleyball athletes at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels. A resident of windward O’ahu, Danny frequently hikes, golfs, helps his sons’ little league teams, and appreciates the occasional relaxing beach day.
