Ecofin U.S. Renewables Infrastructure Trust PLC (RNEW) is a London Stock Exchange–listed investment firm that owns and operates a diverse portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy assets, including wind and solar projects across the United States. With growing demand for reliable clean energy, maintaining optimal performance of these assets is critical.
Challenge
Utility-scale renewable energy projects require continuous oversight to ensure they operate safely, reliably, and at maximum efficiency. With multiple assets across different geographies, RNEW needed a partner with proven expertise in infrastructure management and maintenance to safeguard long-term performance and value.


Project Description
Sustainability Partners, a Public Benefit Company, provides day-to-day operational management for RNEW’s portfolio. Sustainability Partners supervises operations and maintenance (O&M) managers, coordinates with asset management service providers, and oversees business operations to ensure optimal uptime. The portfolio includes:
- Whirlwind Wind Farm (Texas): 59.8 MW, 26 turbines.
- Beacon Portfolio (California): Two solar projects totaling 107.8 MWdc (Beacon II – 59.6 MWdc; Beacon V – 48.2 MWdc).
