Carol Rattray, Investor & Co-Founder of Zoomdojo LLC

Carol Rattray is a private investor and co-founder of Zoomdojo LLC, a social enterprise and career success initiative for college students and recent graduates, and the Rattray Kimura Foundation, a private foundation focused on education and conservation.

Ms. Rattray began her career at Bankers Trust Company’s Capital Markets Group specializing in private placement origination from straight debt to complex structured financings for corporate clients in healthcare, media, transportation, utilities, and other sectors. For more than 25 years, she has been investing and advising startups in technology, media, sustainability, and other fields. More recently, Ms. Rattray and her Zoomdojo co-founder developed a proprietary online jobs search and offline providing programs and advisory services for students and educational institutions.

She is on the board of RentCity, Inc. and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Asian Cultural Council, the Re Foundation, the Dunhuang Foundation and a Trustee Emerita of Bates College. Ms. Rattray sits on the Advisory Board of the Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council and is a member of the President’s Council of Cornell Women and Chatham House. She was previously a Member of the Board of The Nature Conservancy New York State Chapter, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Friends of the Chinese University Museum in Hong Kong and the College Women’s Association of Japan, the Columbia Graduate School of Business Lang Center for Entrepreneurship Advisory Board, and a member of the Cornell University Council.

Ms. Rattray earned her MBA and an MIA from Columbia University and a BA from Cornell University.
